Hole House Farm is situated 5 miles from the M6 motorway and the A66, just 5 miles from the market town of Penrith, 15 miles from Keswick and 20 miles from Windermere. We are a five minute walk from Pooley Bridge where there are pubs, restaurants and cafes where you can relax and unwind. Shops for your everyday needs are also situated at Pooley Bridge.
If you enjoy fell walking you have the whole of the Lake District to explore, with beautiful views across fells and Cumbrian coastline.
Ullswater is just 10 minutes walk away. From there you can catch the steamer to Glenridding or Howton for fell walking or just strolling and enjoying the scenery.
Carlisle is just 40 minutes away on the motorway. Or why not experience a slower pace and cycle following quiet country lanes through the Cumbrian countryside through to Penrith, Dalston and arriving at Carlisle.
